A project where I take pictures of food and discover the surprisingly fascinating world of food photography in all types of situations. This project I am most proud of because it was so different to work on this than all of the other projects.

Having a single picture left for the project, I wanted to take a picture while I was in a restaurant, so I chose to go to Keyrouz and ordered their foret blanche.
I had honey lying around and I also had this glass potion looking thing. I also had this wheat strand so then I decided to take a picture of this honey. Not having a lot of honey, I wanted to take the perspective of pouring honey. I was alone in this room while having a slow shutter speed, so I was scared that the photo was not going to work. I tried anyway and was shocked at how sharp it came out.
That day I made some pancakes and I was working on this project so then I decided: why not make mini pancakes for the picture while I was at it? So then I brung this wooden board then put some powdered sugar on top of the board. Then added the pancakes alongside adding the bananas as if they're making a very delicious ritual. Added some honey with butter, and pressed the shutter button.
This was my first try at food photography, and to say that it was difficult was an understatement. I had a few sheets of paper set on a table with the coffee and (too many) sugar cubes beside it. It looked super bland so I then added a folded tissue. It still was bland, so then I was thinking "what else do they do when they drink coffee in a coffee shop?". And then thought chess, and so I brung some chess pieces to have some color to the composition.
